2/1（月）〜2/14（日）、青山のHADEN BOOKSにて 菅原敏 × 大谷有紀「嘘ついて星ふえる」を開催します。 昨年ユトレヒトで開催した二人展の巡回展となります。 前回とはまた違った空間に。是非見にいらしてください。

『嘘ついて星ふえる』
詩人として 全方位的に活動を続ける菅原敏と、デザイナーとして活動しながら 積極的にアートワークも発表しつづける大谷有紀。本展では、 菅原敏による言葉の意味を裏返した 2 篇の詩、A面「嘘ついて星ふえる」 B面「嘘つかず星きえる」の朗読が収録されたカセットテープを観客が再生するインスタレーションと、 菅原敏の詩にインスピレーションを受けた大谷有紀のドローイング等で構成されたインスタレーショ ンを展示します。 ひとつの世界から生まれた様態の異なる二人の作品が並ぶ空間は、観客の五感を研ぎ澄まし、作品の放つ世界観へと誘います。

From February 1st (Mon) through 14th (Sun) at HADEN BOOKS in Aoyama, Bin Sugawara & Ms. Yuki Ootani will hold “Tell a Fib and One More Star”. It is a two-person travelling exhibition that was held in Utrecht last year. In a space that differs from the previous time. Please come and see it.

“Tell a Fib and One More Star”
Bin Sugawara, who continues his omnidirectional activities as a poet, together with Yuki Ootani, who continues her activities as a designer while actively presenting artwork. This exhibition consists of an installation by Bin Sugawara in which he reverses the meaning of words in two pieces, the recitations of each of which are recorded on a cassette tape for visitors to play: A-side “Tell a Fib and One More Star”, and B-side “Silence a Fib and One Less Star”, There is also an installation by Yuki Ootani that is constructed with her drawings and other pieces inspired by the poems of Bin Sugawara. The space where the works of two people, born of the same world, with differing modes, are set together, sharpens the five senses and beckons the audience to a world that gives freedom to the artwork.
